In a press release meant to remind the rest of the world that, yes, we Canucks have our own gaming award night, the Canadian League of Gamers announced the winners of the Canadian Video Game Awards 2016. The actual show took place earlier this week in Montreal and represented work ‘developed in Canada and internationally.’

While the big winner of the night was the sizable studio of Eidos-Montreal with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, there was some love for smaller projects as both Jotun: Valhalla Edition and Severed picked up a few awards. And while most winners were selected from a panel of industry experts, the fans voted Behaviour Digital’s Dead by Daylight as the ‘Best Canadian-Made Game’.
