Capcom Announces DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition and Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition for PS4 and Xbox One

Capcom announced today that Ninja Theory’s DMC will get a Definitive Edition which will be released on PS4 and Xbox One on March 17th.

The new edition will include a additional modes named “Gods Must Die,” “Hardcore”  and “Must Style” and will run at 60 frames per second in 1080p across both consoles. Costumes for Dante and Vergil inspired by their classic designs will also come with the package.

Additionally, we’ll get all the DLC that came for the game, a Vergil’s Bloody Palace survival mode (which will prompt us to fight against 60 waves of enemies) and a “Turbo Mode” increasing gameplay speed by 20%.

The Definitive Edition will be priced at $39.99.

Those that prefer the classic Devil May Cry will instead be pleased to hear that a Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition will come next summer for PS4 and Xbox One.
