There’s going to be some street fighting going on this summer as Ultra Street Fighter IV (the fourth iteration of Street Fighter IV) now has some solid release dates.
The game will be available digitally on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Games Store on June 3 and 4 (respectively). Physical copies for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will be available on August 8th. PS3, Xbox 360 and PC owners of Super Street Fighter IV and SSFIV: Arcade Edition will be able to buy the digital upgrade for $14.99. The full digital bundle for the PC will be priced at $29.99 while the full digital versions, as well as the retail versions for the PS3 and 360 will be available for $39.99. The retail versions will have all of the previously released versions of the game thus making it the complete package.
The game features five new characters: Poison, Hugo, Elena, Rolento and Decapre, along with six new background stages. Fan feedback was used to try to make this the most balanced version of SFIV. The game will feature new modes and features as well.
Pre-orders have gone live today. Pre-ordering any version will get you the Challengers Costume Pack, which has alternate costumes for the five new characters. These include: Jungle Elena, Medieval Hugo, Pirate Poison, Wizard Rolento and Gladiator Decapre.
