Capcom Fighting Game Team Making “Presentation for New Future” at Captivate

on April 3, 2012 8:00 PM

Did anyone get invited to Captivate? You know, the annual special Capcom industry event where the publisher lays on the information and new game reveals? It happens to be taking place in ever-classy Rome this year. I certainly didn’t get invited, and if you didn’t either you can join me in waiting until next week when the press embargo on all new information lifts. Well…almost all new information.

Former Street Fighter producer (he stepped down temporarily) Yoshinori Ono has taken to his closely watched Twitter account give fans a teeny tiny hint at what was shown at the event.

Ono made a tweet earlier today that read: “So we’re having Captivate at Rome just now! Fighting team had presentation for new future.”

What exactly does this mean, a “presentation for new future”? There’s really no way for anyone who wasn’t there to know just yet. Things should become much clearer when the embargo lifts next week.
