No, I didn't misspell "new" up there. Capcom has recently closed a deal to publish games developed by Nyu Media, a Japanese studio that will expand the company's PC offerings. The first title Capcom will publish is Satazius, a sidescrolling shooter in the vein of Lifeforce and other 8-bit classics.

In fact, many of the games Nyu Media has developed are some kind of shooter. And, judging by the screenshots available at the company's official site, if these games play as good as they look, Capcom will be in pretty good shape on the PC front. As Capcom Entertainment Senior Vice President Christian Svensson has said, change has been a constant for the publisher over the last six years or so and this step toward becoming more competitive in the PC realm would definitely fit in there.
