Capcom Releases Image of Nearly-Finished 20th Anniversary Mega Man X Statue

Teased earlier this year at PAX East in Boston, Capcom announced that in addition to their 25th anniversary Mega Man statue, they would be releasing something similar to commemorate Mega Man X’s contribution to the past 25 years.

The company has released the images that they briefly teased at the event, on their blog today, detailing a statue that shows the classic Mega Man and Mega Man X. The statue shown in the images is near-final, and there will be very minor changes made to it before its official release at San Diego Comic Con later this year (the statue will also be made available on Capcom’s official store). The silvery finish is also final, as Capcom wanted to distinguish it from other items in order to celebrate Mega Man X‘s 20th anniversary.
