With the San Diego Comic-Con now in the rearview mirror of gamers and comic fans alike, and Resident Evil 6 now fully on the horizon, Capcom has released their newest trailer for the upcoming zombie-thriller. The footage highlights the game’s three major campaigns which star Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Jake Muller.

Capcom has stated on more than one occasion that each campaign will exemplify a different aspect of the franchises direction over time; with Leon’s campaign being a callback to the franchises slower, survival horror roots, and Chris’s campaign being more action-oriented like more recent incarnations of the game.

Resident Evil 6 will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 2^nd, 2012. You can check out the new trailer below.
