Capcom Salutes Iron Man With New Video

By Dana Abercrombie

May 4, 2013

In honor of the newly released Iron Man 3 movie, Capcom pays tribute to the contributions Iron Man has made to the numerous Capcom video games over many years.

Iron Man made his first appearance in 1991, where he was one of four selectable heroes in Captain America and the Avengers for the SEGA Genesis, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, GameBoy and SEGA Game Gear platforms.

However, it was Iron Man‘s appearance in the more universally played 1990’s arcade game Capcom vs Marvel that launched his video game popularity and the franchise is still going strong.

Take a look at the video below to see how Iron Man has changed. Get ready for some nostalgia.
