Capcom's Limited Edition Mega Man Helmets Expected to Ship Next Week

Are you one of the privileged few to nab the limited stock Mega Man Helmets via Capcom’s online store? After a series of delays — first Holiday 2015 to January 20, 2016, then January 20 to Winter 2016 — Capcom has confirmed that the helmets will be shipping with the week. News comes by way from Capcom PR who, in a message to DualShockers, clarified that the error was more on the technical end.

The helmets were expected to ship on January 20. When they didn’t ship yesterday, Digital River’s storefront system sent an automated default message that the helmets were backordered. Good news is that the helmets are still on track as expected to ship out to customers this week.

Many of the purchasers have gotten irate over the situation, believing that their preordered helmets were being put on backorder after months of delay. While the item is still limited stock, you have the option to grab them locally at GameStop or online at ThinkGeek while supplies last.
