Capsized Comes Out Friday; I Would Sink the Titanic Ten Times Over to Get My Hands On It

Waaaaay back in the year 2010, I reported on the existence of a little indie game called Capsized. It combines platforming elements with grappling hook puzzle mechanics and some jetpack dogfights to create what looks like an incredibly compelling experience. Add to that some unbelievably beautiful artwork that gives my eyeballs boners, and you’re looking at a game that I absolutely need to play.

Fortunately, I no longer have to sit idly by and wait for any more news regarding the game; developer Alien Trap recently posted on their blog that Capsized would finally be available on Steam this Friday for a stupid cheap price of $9.99. There’s also going to be a demo available the same day, but if you can resist buying the game after looking at the glorious screenshots, you are a stronger man than I.

We’ll most certainly have some kind of review for this one going up by yours truly; this game feels like it’s going to be something special.

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
