As a way of driving pre-orders for this year's upcoming release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Activision has started a new promotion that crosses over with last year's title, Black Ops 4.

As was announced recently, Captain Price, the iconic character from the Modern Warfare series, is now able to be used in Black Ops 4's Battle Royale mode Blackout. To earn Price for yourself, all you have to do is pre-order Modern Warfare and Price will immediately be available for play in Blackout.

While Price will be making his way to all versions of Blackout eventually, for now, he's only available on PS4 as of this moment. From now through next week on July 18, only those who pre-order Modern Warfare on PS4 will be able to net Price in Blackout. This is in part because of PlayStation's ongoing exclusivity deal with Activision that brings all new content in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 first to PS4. Starting on July 18 though, Price will then be available in Xbox One and PC versions of Blackout for play as well.

If you want to get an idea of what Price will look like in Blackout, you can check out the new trailer attached at the bottom of the page. And if you want to pre-order Modern Warfare, you can find the listing on the PlayStation Store right here.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to launch later this year on October 25, 2019, and will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC upon release.
