Earlier this week, I reported that a new entry in the Casey Powell Lacrosse series would be released this year. That being said, today I received an email informing me that the release date for the upcoming sports game would be pushed back.

According to the press release, the developer cited that the game's delay was due to the development team waiting for the game to obtain approvals on various platforms. Although the developer did not provide further information in regards to the subject, the team did confirm that the game would see a short delay and that it intends on releasing the game as early as possible. Additionally, the developer confirmed that a trailer, as well as a gameplay video, would be released before the game's official launch.

Casey Powell Lacrosse 18 is currently being developed by Crosse Studios and will be published by Big Ant Studios. A sequel to the 2016 game Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 this year's installment will continue to build on the foundation, which was established nearly two years ago.

Several notable refinements to the gameplay in Casey Powell Lacrosse 18 include the controls for dodging, faceoff, stick, and shooting controls. As well as reworked AI, which will allow players to experience a more immersive 6v6 match that would rival something you would watch during an actual game being broadcast on television.

As mentioned earlier, Casey Powell Lacrosse 18 will launch sometime this year and will be available digitally on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
