You’ve got a chubby, I’ve got a chubby, we’ve all got chubbies. The last time we got our hands on a Castlevania game was… well, not too long ago. The last time we got our hands on a Castlevania game this generation was… never. Because most of us grew up with the franchise, it’s pretty exciting to see the series take the leap into our amazing visual-pumping consoles; especially considering that the game looks and plays ridiculously well.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – the latest 3D entry to one of the most loved vampiric games of our time – has a been given a release date by Konami, according to PS3 Vault. The game is slated to release this October. Ooh, in time for Halloween! Spooky…
We all recall the disgusting abominations that the Nintendo 64 spat out, with dull PlayStation 2 releases to follow. Let’s just say that, for a moment, it felt as if the folks over at Konami were playing some sort of sick joke while eating Cheese Doodles and laughing hysterically at the expense of our misery. But alas, after seeing Lords of Shadow, we can debunk the notion that Konami wanted us to suffer, somewhat.
The game looks great, it comes out October, and I’m excited to get my paws on it. Anyone else looking forward to playing this? Oh, and did I mention that Konami Productions is putting their two cents?
