There's no doubt that the original season of Netflix's Castlevania was a risk for the popular streaming company. Despite the series' immaculate reputation and the strong writing chops of Warren Ellis (Dead Space), the company opted for a four-episode run in 2017 that left many teetering on a cliffhanger. However, fans can expect that cliffhanger to be resolved in late October with the release of Castlevania Season Two.

News comes by way of series writer Warren Ellis who made the announcement on Twitter. Announced close to the one-year anniversary of the original season's release, he let fans know that Season Two will launch on October 26, 2018:

What goes unstated is that this is actually a delay from the initial plan. Warren Ellis had originally claimed in a (since-deleted) that the series would be coming out in Summer 2018. Lo and behold, we are deep into summer and the series is getting pushed. Not that I mind -- I'm more than fine waiting if it raises the bar on the already incredible first season.

As mentioned above, Castlevania Season Two will be available exclusively on Netflix beginning October 26, 2018. You can expect all eight episodes to release on that day, so make sure to clear your work calendar now.
