Last week, Niantic announced that they'd be hosting a global catch challenge in their huge mobile title, Pokémon GO. The event was meant to get players roaming and catching Pokémon during Thanksgiving week. There were milestones and tiers that were set that would unlock different rewards for players, the final milestone asked players to capture a collective total of 3 billion monsters.

Players all around the world got to work and shattered Niantic's goal in just a week. As a result, the wild duck Pokémon, Farfetch'd, is now available across all regions of the world. It was originally only available in Asia. Players from the region where Farfetch'd was available will be receiving Kanghaskhan for a limited time instead.

Since Farfetch'd is a normal type Pokémon, it should be available just about anywhere. Players have already started seeing Farfetch'd pop up in the game. If you're not planning on heading over to Asia anytime soon, make sure you catch this Pokémon while you still have the chance.
