Catherine Art Book, Soundtrack Come With First Copies

By Chad Awkerman

December 9, 2010

We’ve known the initial run of Catherine copies – both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions – were going to come with a soundtrack CD for a while. I always figured, since the art was so awesome in this title, that an art book would be somehow included in the launch, either as a pre-order bonus or pack-in. It seems Atlus had the same idea, as they pulled the ol’ switcheroo on us. They’ve combined a hand-picked soundtrack CD, with tracks chosen and arranged by the composer, Shoji Meguro, and an awesome art book. What you see above is just a preliminary cover, but it’s likely that piece of art will be in the book somewhere, as well.

Note that these aren’t pre-order bonuses, they come with all first-run copies of the game, possibly even overseas pre-orders, because it doesn’t seem limited to any particular retailer. I would seriously import this title just for the art book alone, how about you?
