Quite a surprise this is, depending on who you ask. Atlus USA tweeted the image of a cake with Catherine‘s PS3 box art on it, and a “200,000 sold” off to the side. If you’d glance to the other side of the cake, you’ll see that was in the first week. This is great for both Atlus, and fans of quirky and different Japanese titles, as it shows that games like this can and will sell well outside of Japan.
