We all know the sultry horror/puzzle title Catherine will be coming to North America sometime this summer. That will, of course, feature localized vocal talent from the likes of genre regulars Laura Bailey (Catherine), Troy Baker (Vincent) and Michelle Ruff (Katherine). One thing that is a bit more significant, though, is what Siliconera is reporting, based on a conversation they had with Michelle Ruff - the in-game animation of the characters' lips will be synced up with the English voice acting.

In a game that has story elements that focus heavily on building a connection with the player and inter-personal relationships, believable animation is almost a necessity, I would think. It's pretty cool that Atlus seems to be going the extra mile with this release and matching up the animation with the English voices. But, then again, would I expect anything less from Atlus? Catherine is set to be releases sometime this Summer on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
