A brand new key visual for the upcoming anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man has been revealed, with more details reportedly arriving next week, which likely means a new trailer is also on the way.

Chainsaw Man has been a breakthrough for Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of the series. It usually takes time for manga to get international recognization, but Chainsaw Man was quick to pick up worldwide recognition. The serialization of the series first started in 2018, with 11 volumes currently available for the fans to read. But in no time, the series left most of the ongoing manga far behind. The second part of Chainsaw Man manga just started recently, and its weekly chapters are taking the internet by the storm.

The anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man was first greenlit in December 2020, with MAPPA being disclosed as the animation studio. Since then, the fans are eagerly waiting to watch Denji in full-on action mode. Even at the Anime Expo event 2022, fans were sure they were going to hear about the show's release date, possibly with a new trailer. But the creator used the panel to discuss the show's production, which disappointed the fans. However, a new key visual of Chainsaw Man just came out, with the release date for the next trailer.

The news for the upcoming trailer on Friday, August 5, 2022, came from the official Twitter account of Chainsaw Man. The Tweet shares that the new PV will get a live broadcast and the information regarding the main cast of the series will also be revealed. A new key visual is also shared in the post. Denji, a.k.a, the Chainsaw Man, is standing on the remains of the building and covered in blood. He can be seen wearing his usual formal outfit with his hands and face transformed into chainsaws.
