The release date for Part 2 of Chainsaw Man was recently revealed with a release window for the anime adaptation. Well, here's everything you need to know about it.

Written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, Chainsaw Man is a top-rated Japanese manga series. So far, the mangaka has given us 11 volumes that were serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018-2020. Following the insane popularity of the manga series, MAPPA announced an anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man last year.

Of course, the anime community is excited to see Denji's story in animated format. However, it's not the end of the road for the manga series as well. Apparently, Tatsuki Fujimoto will release Part 2 of the manga, and everyone familiar with the series is looking forward to reading new chapters.

Chainsaw Man Part 2 and Anime Gets New Release Date Information

Tatsuki Fujimoto announced Part 2 of Chainsaw Man back on December 14th, 2020. The author confirmed that the second part is called "School arc," focusing on Denji going to school.

Interestingly, MAPPA announced the Chainsaw Man anime on the same day, and after a long wait, we got the first trailer for the upcoming anime on June 27th, 2021. Since then, the entire community has been waiting for the creators to reveal more information on Part 2 and the anime adaptation. Well, we finally know that Chainsaw Man is coming back to us next year in two formats.

Of course, fans are excited to hear that we are getting new Chainsaw Man content in 2022. However, the creators have yet to reveal more info around Part 2 and the anime. For instance, we still don't know the anime's cast or the number of episodes Season 1 will feature. Fortunately, Chainsaw Man is getting a stage at Jump Festa 2022, so we'll definitely get more updates on the anime, possibly with a new trailer.
