Champions Online Announces Resistance Adventure Pack

Cryptic Studios, the development team behind free-to-play MMORPG Champions Online just announced plans for the Resistance Adventure pack. This is the third installment of the Adventure Pack series, and will feature an all new storyline, new items and rewards and a new level scaling feature that will allow players between levels 11 to 40 to have have their stats adjust according to the quest in either solo play or in a group of up to 5 members.

The story line is in a way very similar to DC Universe Online and the Crisis On Two Earths DC Comics Event with the whole alternative universe crossover concept. Players travel through some hyper-dimensional portal to a dystopian Millennium City, where evil reigns supreme and superheroes are outlawed. Your mission is to rescue the leader of the resistance movement in order to overthrow the villain regime.

I personally have never played Champions Online, but this seems like a surprisingly fun community event. For more information, you can take a look at the official Resistance Adventure Pack webpage for more details

Daniel Horowitz is currently a Writing/Film student at Sarah Lawrence College, where he previously worked as a film technician and teacher assistant despite having little technical knowledge. He is currently abroad studying play-writing at Oxford University in the UK. Daniel likes to think of himself as a weird combination of Captain America and Hunter S Thompson minus the extensive drug use. As a result, he can often be found lifting things, fighting for justice, and being a crazy outlaw journalist on the edge who doesn't play by the rules. When he’s not writing about, reviewing, or playing games, music, and occasionally writing well-paying profiles of businessman, Daniel thinks about what exactly he'll end u doing with his life post-graduation. Daniel plans on either going to graduate school for an MFA, or more realistically, getting a day job, which he hopes is somehow involved in the gaming, comic book, or film industries.
