Check Out Our Analysis of the Latest Trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man

Following the reveal of the latest trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man, I put together a breakdown video to see what details we can gather from its story.

July 20, 2018

In case you haven’t seen it yet, Insomniac Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment released a new story trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man yesterday at San Diego Comic-Con and with it we got one of our first cohesive looks at what the narrative in the game might entail.

As DualShockers’ resident Spider-Nerd, I took it upon myself to create a breakdown of this new trailer to see if I could tie together certain elements that were shown within it to see if we could gain further insight into the narrative. Most of the things that really piqued my interested in this trailer dealt with Norman Osborn and his now clearer intentions, as well as Miles Morales and the role I think he’s going to end up playing in Marvel’s Spider-Man. I also touch on Silver Sable as her inclusion in this game has been revealed within this new trailer.

You can find the trailer breakdown I put together below. If you happen to check it out, please let me know if you think I’m on the right track with some of my predictions. Having read Spider-Man comics since I was a kid, I think I have some fairly good ideas on where I think Insomniac is taking things in this game and I’d love to chat with you in the comments about what you think as well.

Luckily, we won’t have to wait too much longer to see if I am right with my predictions as Marvel’s Spider-Man is out on September 7, exclusively for PS4. If you haven’t pre-ordered the game yet, you still have time to run over to Amazon to reserve a copy.
