In addition to a long sword, the latest gameplay trailer for Hyrule Warriors shows that Impa will also be able to use a naginata, which is basically the Japanese (and much lighter) version of a glaive.

When Impa uses the naginata, she will be able to execute flashy combos with a combination of fire attacks to defeat her enemies. She can also drag all her enemies into one point and slash them with six giant blades that she summons from the ground.

Hyrule Warriors is scheduled to release on September 26 in North America and September 19 in Europe for the Wii U.
