Check Out Naughty Dog’s Newest Character Artist’s Stunning 3D Models and Artwork

Recently we reported that Naughty Dog has been hiring quite a few new developers to bring some fresh blood into its ranks, and between the new hires there’s Senior Character Artist Nicolas Collings.

Collings is definitely no cub in the gaming industry, having worked since 2007 at Larian Studios, Ubisoft and then on creating the stunning characters for Blur’s cinematic trailers.

This January he moved to Naughty Dog, and he’s currently lending his skills to the beloved characters of Sony’s critically acclaimed first party studio.

If you want to know what he’s capable of, you can check out the gallery below, which includes some of his artwork for previous games, and quite a lot of absolutely terrifying monsters.

At the bottom of the post you can also see his showreel (that one is a little old, from 2012) and a few of the cinematic trailers he worked on during his time at Blur.

One thing is for sure: While we don’t know on which game Collins is currently working on, I definitely can’t wait to see what he will do at Naughty Dog. If you want to see more, you can check out his full portfolio here.
