Square Enix has updated the official website for Dragon Quest Heroes revealing the differences between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.

Starting off with game content, both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions will be the same, so if you plan to own either version of the game, you don't have to worry about being left out. As expected however, there will be differences in game performance and features exclusive to the PlayStation 4 version.

In the PS4 version, players can share screenshots and videos with their friends, as well as broadcast gameplay via live streams. Additionally the game will feature Share Play as well, which allows you to play with your friends up to the early stages of the Dragon fight. It will also allow Remote Play via the PS Vita. All these features are exclusive to the PS4 version of the game.

In terms of performance, the PS3 version will run at 30 frames per second while the PS4 version will run at a smooth 60 frames per second, which it's imperative for a game of this genre that needs its characters running smoothly.

Characters, environments, and effects will be more detailed in the PlayStation 4 version, and it will feature even more monsters in cases where large armies of monsters appear. While the PlayStation 3 version will show less, it won't change the difficulty of the game.
