If you want to see how The Last of Us Remastered actually looks, the first four screenshots have actually been released, even if they found a rather convoluted way to us.

Basically, according to Naughty Dog Community Strategist Arne Meyer the screenshots that you can see below were a batch sent for a Japanese print article, but they were then mistakenly delivered to online press as well.

Actually we’ve had them for quite a while, but we refrained posting them officially since we touched base with Sony about them and they told us they could not identify them for sure as coming from the PS4 version. Hence we decided to err on the side of caution.

Looks like Meyer knows better, so we can now show you what The Last Of Us Remastered actually looks like.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
