At Tokyo Game Show, Wargaming announced the PS4 version of World of Tanks, and the port is already playable at G-Star in Korea.
If you want to see how the game looks Sony’s console, the Korean website This is Game recorded the stage presentation at Sony’s booth, showing it in action.
Interestingly, we get to see the night variant of Himmelsdorf, which is exclusive to the console versions of the game. We also learn that the maps are completely rebuilt for scratch to match the console’s hardware specs in order to get the best visual effect.
The same goes for tanks, that are modeled with the highest degree of detail possible. Each track part is individually modeled, and elements that were just textures in previous models are actually in 3D.
Physically based rendering is also unique to the PS4 version, according to the presentation.
