Harebrained Schemes, the development studio behind the Kickstarter success Shadowrun Returns, has started teasing its next project in the popular Shadowrun universe with a new concept art image.

The image comes from an update posted to the Shadowrun Returns Kickstarter page yesterday, displaying what appears to a heavily populated city located somewhere in Asia. The post development team wrote in the post:

Here's a piece of look & feel concept art for our new setting. We'll show how it translates into Shadowrun's isometric gameplay view when our Kickstarter launches in January!

During the first Kickstarter campaign, backers were able to vote on the location of the game's first expansion, which took players to Berlin for Shadowrun: Dragonfall. The city that took second place in the vote was none other than Hong Kong, likely pointing to what may be this games destination. With a new Kickstarter campaign launching in January for the project, it won't be long until we find out.

Shadowrun Returns and the standalone Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut are both available now on PC, iOS and Android.
