Today, Culture Shock Games' first-person narrative driven game, We Are Chicago, launches on PC, Mac, and Linux at the price point of $14.99 USD. To celebrate the game's release, the developer has released a new launch trailer.

We Are Chicago is a game that strives to portray the harsh realities associated with growing up on the south and west side of Chicago, Illinois. It's a 3D narrative-driven adventure game that throws players into the the life of Aaron, a high school student who is only a week away from high school graduation when suddenly his best buddy Robert has stopped showing to school. Soon, Aaron's world begins to unravel around him, and it becomes increasingly difficult for him to protect his family and loved ones among all the turmoil that has taken the neighborhood by storm.

Players will need to uncover what is actually going on, and who are Aaron's real friends as they explore the neighborhood and relationships with other characters. The game utilizes a myriad of in-depth first-person interviews that are interwoven into the game’s story, and has players interact with NPCs via dialogue choices.

A portion of sales of We Are Chicago will be donated to the non-profit organizations All Stars Project of Chicago and Reclaim Our Kids. Below, you can view the launch trailer:
