You know Kongregate, that site that you never want to have an open tab open for when your boss walks by? The one with all the surprisingly addictive free games on it? Well, they’ve partnered with Ubisoft to bring you a rather unique new contest: Make your own music game. Inspired by the upcoming Child of Eden, Project Eden: Experience the music challenges amateur game makers to create the best music game they can, and have those submissions judged by Child of Eden and Rez creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi for the chance to win a possible grand prize of $10,000. Damn. That’s a lot of paper for one little flash rhythm game.
If you want in, submissions are open now, so get to work. All games must be submitted by June 21, at which point the games will be played and voted on by the Kongregate community. The top 25 games will then be judged by Tetsuya Mizuguchi and his crack team of judges.
For full rules and more information, check out the official contest site.
