Child’s Play Charity Clears Two Million Dollars in Donations

By Kenneth Richardson

January 4, 2011

The Child’s Play Charity, which is video game oriented and benefits ill youth, pulled in record profits last year of more than $2.2 million.

These profits are pretty similar to the success of the Humble Indie Bundle, which was just shy or $2 million, which is a little weird because the Humble Indie Bundle was in cahoots with the Child’s Play Charity. Isn’t that a little odd?

Anyway, the bundle contributed a whopping $300,000. This is excellent news for the charity and everyone they’ve been so gosh darn charitable to. Let’s hope that this year is even better for them.
