We’ve seen a lot of great titles from Square-Enix being released as PS1 classics on the PlayStation Network as of late, including favorites such as Xenogears and Vagrant Story. Last year it was promised that Chrono Cross would be in the pipeline for a Japanese PSN release. Well, we haven’t seen that yet, although we do know for a decent certainty that it is coming.

On the Japanese Square-Enix Members Twitter account, Front Mission Evolved producer Shinji Hashimoto confirmed that the title was still incoming when he said that it won’t be long before he can talk about when it is coming to the PSN. Unfortunately, this applies to only a Japanese release of the title. Fortunately, most games of this caliber released on the Japanese PSN eventually come to North America.
