Citadel: Forged With Fire Halloween Update Revealed; Adds New Costumes, Effects, and More
Citadel: Forged With Fire's latest update, based around holiday of Halloween, adds spooky new items, and will last until November 1, 2017.
It’s that time of the year when every game seems to get into the spooky spirit. Today developer Blue Isle Studios announced a brand new update for its sandbox role-playing game Citadel: Forged With Fire, and, predictably, it’s centered around Halloween.
First and foremost, the scenery and atmosphere of the game will be completely changed. Fog, spider webs, dead trees, and a red moon will be added to the world, which I’m sure will be creepy. In addition to that, players will also get access to new helmets, masks, and other cosmetic items like pumpkin heads, and bed sheets. You’ll be able to find these items in chests found in enemy camps and caves. Finally, there will be , of course, new props and building pieces, including some gravestones, trap doors, and more.
The Halloween Update and all its festivities start today, October 19, 2017. The event is scheduled to end on November 1, 2017. To celebrate the announcement, a brand new trailer was released.
Around a month ago, an update for the game was revealed, which added a set of pieces for the structure construction system.
Citadel: Forged With Fire is a part of Steam’s Early Access program, and has been since July 26, 2017. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game are also in development, however, as of the time of this writing, no release date has been revealed.
