Cities: Skylines released back in 2015 and while the city-building sim is a few years old at this point, regular content updates and DLC have ensured that you can always make your city bigger and brighter, and now you can give the game a try for free on Steam this weekend.

Steam's Weekend Deals are live and include some enticing offers this week, primarily a free weekend with the acclaimed city builder Cities: Skylines, which you can download and play for free on PC from now through Sunday at 1pm PT. Alternatively, the game itself is discounted down to $7.49 (if you decide you want to keep playing) through Monday at 10am PT, along with a number of the game's DLC also being available at discounted prices.

In addition to the free weekend, Steam is also hosting some notable discounts on some old PC favorites such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition for $19.99Steep for $14.99, and Dying Light for $15.99 to coincide with the game's third anniversary this month.
