The Nintendo Switch has been selling incredibly well since the second it hit store shelves. The handiness of taking the console on the go has been a hit and Nintendo has just gotten started. Now what has been a little bit more surprising has been the customizability of the console itself. Well, maybe not officially by the big N themselves, rather with third party companies. Who wants to pay $80 when you could easily buy a much cheaper skin and replace the guts yourself? Well, these retro Nintendo Joy-Con skins might make you finally make that purchase.

The Reddit user u/21mtho shared some of his own mockups of classic Nintendo themed Joy-Cons. You can take a look at all of the mockups right here on his website. Make sure to take a look at all of them too. He did a wonderful job of capturing the theme of each one.

While I do enjoy the design of the Switch, my nostalgic self can't help but feel the need to somehow pick up one of these designs for my own personal console. Are you telling me you wouldn't want a GameCube designed Joy-Con? I would have to call you a lier if you were to say no.

However, the Nintendo 64 designed console caught my eye. I know that it will probably go down as one of the ugliest consoles in the history of gaming, especially due to the fork controller, but it might be my favorite. But, I do think that my Ocarina of TIme and Banjo-Kazooie obsessions makes me a bit biased.
