The moody horror title Close to the Sun from developer Storm in a Teacup is due to land on consoles next month after originally launching on PC earlier this year. Today, publisher Wired Productions has shared an electrifying video to promote the launch. Additionally, the video also shows us some of the first footage of the title running on the Nintendo Switch and a limited collectors edition.

Both the publisher and developer teamed up with Fabrício H. Franzoli, a creator well-known for his music video creations that involve using singing Tesla Coils. These coils are modified so that the modulated spark outputs produce musical tones. For the below video, Franzoli has created a rendition of the single released by Porcelain Pill titled Close to the Sun and created for the game. You can check out the Tesla Coil video below.

Throughout the video, there are clips that play out ranging from panning shots of the games haunting environments, and also some first-person clips. Wired Productions state that this is the first glimpse of Nintendo Switch footage to be released.

In addition to the music video, and the Nintendo Switch footage, it was also announced that a special Close to the Sun Collectors Edition will release physically and is available to pre-order at the Wired Productions website. This edition of Close to the Sun will cost you $98.86 USD and there are 1,000 units available.
