Ahead of its release later this month, Bandai Namco Entertainment has today released a new demo for the upcoming Soulslike title Code Vein.

This demo for Code Vein is said to familiarize players with the game’s character creation tool and will allow you to sleuth through the opening area. You can also explore the location known as The Depths in addition to taking your skills into a dungeon. If you’ve been looking to give Code Vein a shot before deciding if you want to pick it up, this is likely the best time to do so.

Perhaps the only downside to this demo is that it is only available on consoles. If you have a PS4 or Xbox One, you can download this Code Vein trial right now. For those on PC, you’re left out in the cold for the moment. Fortunately, the full release isn’t too far out.

Along with releasing this demo today though, Bandai Namco also unleashed a new trailer for Code Vein as well. This video doesn’t show a whole lot of direct gameplay but instead highlights many of the locations within the game. We also see a variety of different character types, all of which you can design for yourself via the aforementioned character creation tools.

You can check out this new trailer down below if you’re interested. Code Vein is set to hit PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this month on September 27.
