During an event from Akihabara, Tokyo, hosted by the Dengeki PlayStation magazine, Bandai Namco showcased quite a bit of gameplay from the Code Vein demo titled Second Blood (as opposed to First Blood which was playable at Tokyo Game Show).

The demo showcases some dungeon gameplay in which we see combat against various smaller Lost, and some details like the ability to change companions at the game's equivalent of Dark Souls' bonfires.

After that, we get to see once more the battle against the Queen's Knight boss, even if this time around it's played by a developer (More precisely the game's Action Director). It's brutal enough that even he dies twice before finally felling the boss.

You can check it out below. If you want to see more, you can enjoy the most recent batch of screenshotssome more recent screenshots and footageanother large batch of images. You can also read our interview with Producer Keita Iizuka and Director Hiroshi Yoshimura.
