Today Bandai Namco released a new batch of screenshots and a video of its upcoming Souls-like JRPG Code Vein.

This time around we get another look at the ruined chapel that the revenants have converted into their base of operation. The video is similar to the one we showcased a few days ago, but we get to see slightly different areas, including the recreation room that comes with a funny decoration that really looks like Dominos' Pizza's sign. It also comes with some appropriate music, which is always a bonus.

Update: I actually checked out the screenshot more closely, and I just noticed that under the sign there are a few pizza boxes. While they're different from the boxes you may be used to in the west, those are most definitely the boxes Domino's Pizza uses in Japan. I know due to extensive and direct experience.

We also get another look at the character customization that can be done at the base, and more screenshots showing the NPCs Io, Coco, Rin Murasame, and Davis. Quite interestingly, we learn that Io is the one that can repair the Blood Code crystals found by exploring the vein.

All of the revenants that can be found at the base are losing their memories due to the nature of the BOR parasite that made them into what they are to begin with. By finding their memories in the Vein in the form of crystals, it's possible to restore them.

You can check all the screenshots and the video below.  If you want to see more, you can enjoy some recent gameplay that we recorded at a press event, another large batch of screenshits, some more gameplay from Taipei Game Show, another recent gallery of screenshotsmore images and information, and the latest trailer. You should also read our interview with Producer Keita Iizuka and Director Hiroshi Yoshimura.

Code Vein will release in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
