Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released a new trailer for its upcoming Souls-like action JRPG Code Vein continuing the series of videos featuring the Blood Veils.

Like in the previous videos, we just see a tiny bit of footage, providing a look at the “Ivy” blood veil that can plunge into the ground and emerge under the enemy’s feet, striking them from below in a really sneaky manner.

This isn’t just reserved for the player’s use, but it’s also the blood veil used by one of our NPC companions, the sexy Eva.

You can check out the video below. If you want to see more about the game, you can enjoy another recent trailer from yesterday showing off the Hounds blood veil, another  showcasing the Stinger blood veil, and a third showing the Ogre Blood Veil. We also have the latest gallery of images, a story trailer from a few days ago and another batch of screenshots.

Code Vein will release in Japan on September 27th, followed by the western release one day later on September 28th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can already pre-order it on Amazon.
