Earlier today, Bandai Namco released a Japanese trailer for its Souls-like action-JRPG Code Vein, featuring companion character Mia Karnstein.

Now we got the English version of the trailer, and not only we get to hear Mia's lines in English, but we also receive a sample of her voice acting for the west. On top of her voice, we also hear that of her little brother, Nikola.

You probably know by now that I normally prefer Japanese voice acting on Japanese games, but the performance here is quite good. Hopefully, it'll hold the standard in the full game as well, for those who enjoy hearing the voices in English.

You can check out the trailer below. If you want to see more, you can also check out a ton of gameplay from a couple of weeks ago, another trailer, and a recent gallery of screenshots.

Code Vein will release in Japan on September 27th. The western release will follow just one day later on September 28th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you want to grab a copy, can already pre-order it on Amazon.
