In a tweet on Bandai Namco's Twitter account, season pass content for Code Vein will begin rolling out in early 2020.

The three DLC packs will launch in early 2020, with no exact release dates provided for each DLC pack. Additionally, each one will include new story content, bosses, blood codes, weapons, and more. No specifics were mentioned when it comes to what these bosses, blood codes, and weapons will be. On top of the DLC expansions, the game will be a December update which will include Christmas themed accessories, new poses, and dance emotes. No specific release date for the update was provided as well. Code Vein has also recently recieved patch version 1.11 which includes several bug fixes.

Code Vein launched in September and it recieved a Metacritic score of 70. I reviewed it for DualShockers and gave it a 7.0. While I loved its anime art style and asctetic, its combat and gameplay loop felt a little too similar to FromSoftware games such as Dark Souls and Bloodborne. That being said, I'm interested in seeing what the DLC will look like.

Code Vein is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If you're interested in getting the season pass, it's available now for $24.99 on those platforms.
