Codemaster Announces F1 2013 and F1 2013: Classic Edition With Trailers, Screenshots and Box Art

on July 15, 2013 10:39 AM

Codemasters just officially unveiled this year’s edition of its Formula 1 simulator, obviously titled F1 2013, but there’s a twist:  they’ll also be releasing a limited edition named F1 2013: Classic Edition that features cars and circuits from the 1980s, and is expanded with further content from the 1990s and additional Classic Tracks.

That’s most definitely a spiffy idea, considering that Formula 1 back then was more of a form of art than a highly technological sport.

The two editions of the game will be released this fall for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Below you can see a gallery of screenshots, the announcement trailer, two videos with hot laps of Silverstone and Nürburgring and the official box art.
