Cold War has received the all-new Season 5 update today and there are tons of new features arriving in the game.

While a number of games have been released in the past year or so, Warzone and Cold War have cemented their place as one of the most popular multiplayer games out there. Both of the games receive some significant updates from time to time, and that has ensured that the players have tons of content to keep them engaged at all times.

Recently, the Season 5 Update went live in Cold War and Warzone. This update is yet another major update for the two games and will be adding a plethora of stuff ranging from new weapons, perks to a lot more.

One of the most interesting additions has been a new game mode in Cold War and fans are quite curious to learn more about the Double Agent mode. Here is all you need to know about it.

Cold War Double Agent - New Game Mode Explained

Cold War's latest Double Agent mode is quite unique and different from the regular clichéd modes we see in multiplayer shooters. If you have been following popular games in the past few months, you might have heard about Among Us, the online multiplayer social deduction game that shot up in popularity immensely. Double Agent is basically Cold War's version of Among Us.

There are a total of 10 players in one match, and they are divided into Double Agents and Operatives. Double Agents are basically the suspects, and Operatives need to find who these Double Agents are. Players don't get a choice to become any of these, and it is assigned randomly.

While it might sound a bit difficult for operatives, they have some perks to help them. For instance, Operatives will have a special player known as the Investigator who has the most important role in the game. They can put up Wanted Orders for players, have Stimshots and Hand Cannons, and play a crucial role in finding the Double Agents.

The latest game mode is now live and players can play it in Cold War.
