Cold War March 11 Playlist Update

The new update coming to Cold War on March 11 will be in the form of a Playlist Update, so you won't need to do a physical download of the new update. Once you jump into Cold War you'll likely be greeted with a message similar to "update requires restart", you'll then be kicked back to the main menu and the playlist update will be complete. If you're in a game when the update goes live, the same thing will happen when your game ends.

So, what's new in the playlist update? There will be a brand new St. Patrick's day mode that is reportedly set to stay for a week, the popular Face-Off game mode is also going to be moved to the Quick Play section of the menu.

St. Patrick's Stockpile is the main part of the new playlist update, so we've put together everything we know about the new mode.

The Irish themed mode is a twist on the normal Stockpile mode, instead of players collecting normal Kill Confirmed/Denied Tags, you'll be picking up Shamrocks and delivering them to allocated Pot o' Gold checkpoints to score points for your team.

The mode is only available for one week, so make sure you jump in before it goes away on March 18, 2021.

When Is The Next Warzone Update?

There's no information on what changes, if any, will be coming to the Warzone playlist today. But there have been reports from Call of Duty that the Zombies in Verdansk will begin spreading across the map, so with a playlist update going live later today (March 11), we could be seeing the beginning of the end.
