Come See Dark Souls II's Debut Game-play Video and Screenshots

The first game-play footage of From Software and Namco Bandai’s anticipated RPG Dark Souls II has hit the internet. IGN has shared the 12 minute game-play video, which includes a sit down Q&A with From Software director Yui Tanimura and Namco Bandai global producer Tak Miyazoe, in addition to some wonderful game-play. The game looks really similar to the original, although one of the team’s biggest goals with the sequel is to improve the visuals. The developers talk about deflecting projectiles, improved archery, new ways to interact with the environment and much more in this video, so please view it below.

Also below are the first game-play screenshots from the title. It’s clear from these screens how similar Dark Souls II looks to the prequel (though that’s in no way a bad thing) and you can spot some slight improvements as well. Don’t just take my word for it, check all of this stuff out below. Dark Souls II is expected to hit the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 sometime this year.
