Every time that Game Pass gets updated, it gets better. It seems like every month more and more games are coming to the platform solidifying its title as the "best deal in gaming." This month is no different with nine more games headed to the service.Perhaps the biggest title coming to Game Pass on January 28 is The Medium. Developed by horror veterans Bloober Team, The Medium will be the very first game exclusive to the Xbox Series X and S that isn't backward compatible. It will run on PC as well as long as your rig has an SSD that can handle the game's dual-world.

The other eight games coming to Game Pass in January are Control (PC) on January 21, Desperados III (Android, Console, PC) on January 21, Donut County (Android, Console, PC) on January 21, Outer Wilds (Android) on January 21, Cyber Shadow (Android, Console, PC) on January 26, and more of the Yakuza remastered collection.

We here at DualShockers are big fans of the Yakuza series so adding the remastered versions of Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 on January 28 is totally fine by our books.

Game Pass always giveth, but it also taketh away. The blog post with the new game announcements also includes a full list of titles that are leaving Game Pass on January 29. The list includes:

  • Death Squared (Console)
  • Death’s Gambit (PC)
  • Final Fantasy XV (Console and PC)
  • Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour (Console and PC)
  • Gris (PC)
  • Indivisible (Console and PC)
  • Reigns: Game of Thrones (PC)
  • Sea Salt (Console and PC)

So, if you're looking to give any of these games a try, make sure to do it before the 29th. For more updates on The Medium, make sure to check out this article from last week that details more of the tech side of the game (spoiler alert: it will support ray tracing.)
