Veteran Metal Gear fans will have much to rejoice, as today before the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2013 a new report has revealed that Harry Gregson-Williams, the longtime composer behind the Metal Gear Solid series (for MGS2: Sons of Liberty, MGS3: Snake Eater, and MGS4: Guns of the Patriots), will be returning to the series once more to create the score for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.

During a European gameplay demonstration before TGS, the news of Gregson-Williams' return to MGS was confirmed by Julien Chieze (co-founder and editor of Gameblog.fr) as a demo of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes was being played for games press members, and confirming his involvement in writing and composing the music for the upcoming game.

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (a "prologue" for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain) is under development at Kojima Productions, with a currently unknown release date for Xbox 360 and PS3, along with next-gen development for Xbox One and PS4 under progress as well.
