If you want to check out how Funcom’s upcoming ipen world survival game Conan Exiles actually plays, today the developer streamed about forty minutes of raw gameplay.
The stream, presented by Creative Director Joel Bylos and Community Manager Jens Erik Vaaler, showcased some very early aspects of the title’s gameplay, starting with character creation and moving on to basic survival, crafting, combat all the way up to the point in which you build a shelter to survive the night.
An interesting aspect, that mitigates the food and drink problems that often get to be a bit annoying in survival games, if you actually fill up your meters, they will stay full for a while, instead of immediately starting to drop, giving you a grace period in which you don’t need to worry about consistently eating and drinking.
The game certainly looks interesting, and the environments look awesome.
The game recently got a new trailer, with the mention that it will release on Steam Early Access on January 31st, and on Xbox One preview in the Spring.
