Funcom's Conan Exiles is a lot of fun, but it's no mystery that it comes with a fair share of issues and glitches.

Currently, the developer is testing a major update for the PC version of the game including over 500 fixes and updates. Unfortunately, the patch has been delayed to early August, as announced today in an official forum post.

The announcement also mentions that a patch that will bring the PS4 and Xbox One version to parity with the currently live PC version will likely hit tomorrow, pending certification from Sony and Microsoft.

In a second forum post the developer explained the reasons behind the delay of the patch on PC. The development team has been working hard for launch and the following period, so a number of team members is going to take some time off in order to get some much-needed rest.

They wanted to get the patch out this week in order to address possible issues before the weekend, but they didn't manage to stabilize the update enough to feel confident about deploying it to the live servers just before the summer break. As a consequence, it's going to be released when everyone on the team is back.

The developer "fully appreciates" that such a course of action is not ideal, and thanked players for their patience.

The patch includes a ton of different fixes and updates, starting with a "recruit rank" to be added to clans (and a redesign of the clan menu), color-coded durability bars,  improvement to shield, correction of tier 4 thralls' faces, and much, much more.

Incidentally, you may want to do all of your black ice building before the patch hits, because the recipe for insulated wood will require two resin and one oil instead of just one resin. This has been changed to bring black ice more in line with reinforced stone.
